Goliath Resources Limited (TSX‑V: GOT | OTCQX: GOTRF | FSE: B4IF) has reported additional high‑grade drilling results from its Surebet discovery in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, further confirming the continuity of mineralisation within the newly identified northeast extension of the Golden Gate Zone.
The latest results support continued expansion of the Golden Gate Zone, which has now been extended by a combined 860 metres, comprising a 320‑metre extension to the northeast and a 540‑metre extension to the southwest. The zone remains open laterally and at depth.
Key drill results include:
- 10.32g/t gold over 6.0m, including:
- 15.61g/t gold over 3.96m
- 33.80g/t gold over 1.82m
- 4.41g/t AuEq over 7.79m, including:
- 8.47g/t AuEq over 3.81m
- 16.65g/t AuEq over 1.79m
- 4.17g/t AuEq over 3.75m, including:
- 7.52g/t AuEq over 1.94m
The strongest result came from hole GD‑26‑424, which intersected high‑grade mineralisation within the Golden Gate Zone and contained multiple occurrences of visible gold associated with quartz‑sulphide veins.
Hole GD‑25‑412 also returned mineralised intervals from both the Surebet and Golden Gate zones, further supporting continuity within the expanding system.
Visible gold has now been identified in 25 of 45 holes drilled during the 2026 campaign. All drill holes completed to date have intersected quartz‑sulphide mineralisation associated with high‑grade gold, reinforcing the scale and consistency of the Surebet discovery.
Roger Rosmus, Founder & CEO of Goliath, commented, “We started our drilling season with a goal focused on expansion. Our team is delivering in an impressive way. It is unusual for a high-grade gold system to have such a large footprint of 1.8 kilometers by 1.8 kilometers with over 700 meters of vertical relief from the top of the mountain down to just above the valley floor. The high-grade gold and visible gold is within a series of lodes/veins, stacked like a layer cake making up the large footprint that spans top to bottom over 1.2 kilometers. Usually in a high-grade gold system, step out drilling is done on very tight spacing, whereas our Surebet Discovery step outs in 2026 are 100 plus meters including some out as much as 750 meters. Many of our team members have extensive experience in high-grade gold systems and are somewhat astonished with the growth of the system. In addition, the continuity and predictability is rare in a high-grade gold system loaded with visible gold. We started our drilling exploration at the top of the Surebet mountain and have followed it down the mountain and still haven’t found the systems limits. With the confirmation of the Golden Gate and Bonanza Zone extensions, we will continue to move rigs to the Southwest, Northeast and Easterly directions. Now we are getting near the valley floor where key structures come together. We are delighted about the 2026 drilling season thus far and have more drilling ahead this season resulting in a steady flow of assay results, stay tuned.”
The fully funded 50,000m drill program remains underway with seven rigs on site. To date, 45 of 98 planned holes have been completed for a total of 25,651m of drilling, with ongoing work focused on expanding the Bonanza, Golden Gate and Surebet zones.
