Lion Rock Resources Commences Metallurgical Testing at Volney Project

Lion Rock Resources Inc. (TSXV: ROAR | OTCQB: LRRIF | FSE: KGB) has commenced a metallurgical testing program at its Volney critical minerals project in South Dakota, advancing the project toward potential development.

The program will evaluate concentrate grades, recovery rates and processing pathways for the project’s lithium‑tin‑tantalum mineralisation, building on recent drilling that confirmed a large near‑surface system.

Bulk samples will be collected directly from exposed pegmatite zones, allowing for higher‑quality testing compared to drill core. The results will be used to assess processing options, including on‑site and off‑site concentration, as well as direct shipping scenarios.

Volney is a past‑producing asset with existing infrastructure, including road access and power, supporting rapid advancement compared to typical early‑stage projects.

Dale Ginn, president and CEO of Lion Rock Resources, commented, “Volney’s past production history and existing infrastructure allow us to advance metallurgical work earlier than typically seen at this stage. This program is focused on evaluating potential production pathways while continuing to build momentum toward development.”
