International Graphite Limited (ASX: IG6 | FWB: H99) has awarded the construction contract for its Collie Micronising Facility in Western Australia, marking another step toward project development.
The contract has been awarded to Prosser Built, a long‑established construction company with extensive experience delivering industrial projects in the region.
Construction will focus on the facility’s process building, which will house the micronising plant and equipment. The contract remains within the previously announced capital cost estimate, with Stage 1 budgeted at A$6.3M and Stage 2 at A$1.7M.
Equipment orders for Stage 1 have already been placed, with vendor testwork underway to finalise specifications for Stage 2.
The project is scheduled for completion in Q2 2027, supported by funding from the Western Australian Government’s Collie Industrial Transition Fund and assistance from the Australian Government.
