International Graphite and Alkeemia Advance JV Plans for European Graphite Hub

International Graphite Ltd. (ASX: IG6) has progressed development plans with Alkeemia for a proposed graphite processing hub in Italy, following a joint technical and financial evaluation of the project.

The planned facility at Porto Marghera is designed to produce approximately 10,500 tonnes per year of graphite products, supported by IG6’s processing expertise and Alkeemia’s established industrial infrastructure.

Under the joint venture structure, Alkeemia will hold 51% ownership and IG6 49%, with profits shared equally. IG6 is expected to contribute approximately A$12M in capital for the initial phase.

The evaluation highlights a strong financial profile, with indicative annual revenue of $20.1M and EBITDA of $12.2M, based on current market conditions.

The project is positioned to establish an independent European graphite processing platform, reducing reliance on external supply chains while aligning with the EU Critical Raw Materials Act. The facility will target high‑value applications across energy storage, advanced manufacturing and defence sectors.

Construction is planned to commence in Q3 2026, with first production targeted for H2 2027, subject to a final investment decision.

International Graphite continues to advance the project alongside financing initiatives and strategic partnerships, with scalability to expand production to 15,000tpa over time.
