International Graphite Limited (ASX: IG6 | FWB: H99) has secured a key milestone for its Collie Micronising Facility in Western Australia, with earthworks and civil construction now set to commence following receipt of a building permit.
The permit marks the second milestone under the company’s A$4.5M grant from the Western Australian Government’s Collie Industrial Transition Fund, enabling the next tranche of funding to be drawn down.

Construction contractor Prosser Built has confirmed the final tender price for the production building, which is within 0.1% of the budget outlined in the 2025 FEED study. The project remains on track for mechanical completion in Q2 2027, with a total capital cost estimate of A$8.0M.
The Collie facility will become Australia’s first commercial graphite micronising operation, representing a key downstream step in the domestic graphite value chain. Progress at Collie also supports the company’s broader strategy, including advancing its joint venture graphite processing hub in Europe.
Customer engagement continues to build, with strong interest from Australian and North Asian markets seeking alternative graphite supply sources.
International Graphite continues to progress the facility toward production, with construction, customer engagement and downstream integration advancing in parallel.
