Critical Metals Corp. (Nasdaq: CRML) has announced a significant regulatory milestone for its flagship Tanbreez rare earth and critical minerals project in Greenland, with the approval of geochemical test work reports by the Environment Agency for Mineral Resource Activities (EAMRA).
The approval follows the submission of comprehensive documentation on 29 September 2025, by Tanbreez Mining Greenland A/S, a wholly owned subsidiary of Critical Metals Corp. The submission included geochemical assessments of the hill site, a comparative analysis, and components of the mine and closure plan. The reports were prepared by NIRAS A/S, a Denmark-based engineering and environmental consultancy with global expertise in sustainable resource development.
EAMRA has confirmed that the geochemical test work requirements have now been fulfilled, marking a pivotal step in the permitting process.
Tony Sage, CEO and Executive Chairman of Critical Metals Corp commented, “The fast approval of these test reports, which can be credited to Greenland authorities as well as the professional work by NIRAS, is a key milestone for Critical Metals Corp towards commencing the mining process at Tanbreez. We look forward to continuing this constructive work with the authorities in Greenland as well as NIRAS in our efforts to accelerate the development of Tanbreez project as quickly as possible.”
With geochemical approvals secured, the Company now turns its attention to the remaining regulatory steps:
- Final approval of the full mine and closure plan
- Authorization for specific operational activities
The Tanbreez project is positioned to become a key supplier of rare earth elements and other critical minerals essential for the energy transition and advanced technologies. Critical Metals Corp continues to engage constructively with Greenlandic authorities to expedite development timelines.
