Century Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LCE | OTCQX: CYDVF | Frankfurt: C1Z) announced that its wholly owned Angel Island lithium project in Esmeralda County, Nevada, has been added to the Federal Permitting Dashboard with FAST-41 transparency status by the US Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council. The project joins 28 other critical mineral developments granted this status following a March 2025 executive order aimed at boosting US mineral production.
Angel Island is one of the largest sedimentary lithium deposits in the US and is among the few advanced domestic projects capable of producing battery-grade lithium carbonate using a full end-to-end process. A feasibility study estimates operating costs at approximately US$2,833/t among the lowest in North America, due to a unique chloride-based leaching process, favorable deposit chemistry, and by-product sodium hydroxide sales. The processing method integrates chloride leaching with Direct Lithium Extraction to recover lithium from claystone.
