Century Lithium Corp. (TSXV: LCE | OTCQX: CYDVF | Frankfurt: C1Z) has announced that chief financial officer Braam Jonker will step down effective September 30, 2025.
Matthew Tompkins, the company’s financial controller since 2022, will assume the role of Interim CFO. A chartered professional accountant, Tompkins brings more than a decade of mining sector experience, including time with PwC and several Canadian listed issuers. He is also the founder of Elevate Financial, a boutique firm providing fractional CFO and reporting services.
President and CEO Bill Willoughby thanked Jonker for his leadership and expressed confidence in Tompkins’ ability to guide the company’s financial operations during the transition.
The appointment of an experienced internal candidate suggests continuity in Century Lithium’s financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Tompkins’ background with audit, advisory, and growth-stage companies positions him to manage the company’s financial strategy as it advances its Angel Island lithium project in Nevada.
