BlackEarth Minerals Adds Leading Australian Businesswoman To Board

BlackEarth Minerals NL (ASX:BEM) has named experienced and leading Australian Business Advisor, Heather Zampatti, to the Board of the company.

Perth based Ms Zampatti is currently head of wealth management at Bell Potter Securities and sits on the boards of the Federal Government Remuneration Tribunal, Osteoporosis Australia, The University of WA Club, Theatre 180, Tura New Music and ASIC’s Financial Services Consultative Committee.

She is also a former member of the Australian Federal Government’s Takeover Panel, Financial Sector Advisory Council ,Chair of Lotterywest, Chair of Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and Board member of Healthways, AIM WA, Chief Executive Women (CEW) and WA Ballet.

Ms Zampatti holds a Bachelor of Science from UWA, a Diploma of Education and is a Certified Financial Planner and is a Master of Stockbroking (MSAA). Heather has also recently been awarded an honourary Doctor of Commerce from Edith Cowan University (ECU).

Not only does she bring to the Board extensive experience in developing strategies to grow and expand enterprises, Heather has a track record of providing senior leadership skills in dealing with a range of industries and government bodies,” BlackEarth Chairman, George Bauk, said.

“Her extensive experience with social causes and governance functions will add enormous value to our Board as we continue to expand our operations and networks globally”

MsZampatti commented : “I am delighted to be joining the Board of BlackEarth. Having worked in Capital Markets, Stockbroking and the Investment Sector for over 35 years, I am keen to contribute to the ongoing success of the company.

“BlackEarth is at an exciting stage in its development towards becoming a leading producer of concentrate from its Maniry Project, expandable graphite and other down stream graphite products which is finding rising demand in areas including electric vehicles and clean energy delivery.
