Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX: BGD) has announced the expedited commencement of follow-up drilling at its Tolmer high-grade silver discovery within the Tarcoola Gold Project in South Australia. This follows a March 2025 discovery where a single line of seven drill holes yielded three globally significant silver intercepts, including:
- TBAC130: 6m @ 4,747 g/t Ag (including 1m @ 17,600 g/t)
- TBM227: 4m @ 1,417 g/t Ag (including 1m @ 3,790 g/t)
- TBM228: 23m @ 95 g/t Ag from 4m, and 14m @ 434 g/t Ag from 46m (including 1m @ 3,350 g/t)
Drilling will be conducted by Bullion Drilling and is set to begin the week of the announcement. Barton’s CEO Alexander Scanlon emphasized the unusually high grades for Australia and the urgency in delineating the newly discovered silver zone.
