Banyan Gold (TSXV: BYN | OTCQB: BYAGF) has released new drill results from the Powerline deposit at its AurMac project in Yukon, confirming continuity of high-grade gold and supporting conversion of previously modelled waste blocks into ore.
Drillhole AX-25-660 returned 1.85g/t Au over 26.9m, including 5.91g/t over 3.5m, within a broader 62.0m at 0.93g/t Au. AX-25-664 intersected 3.36g/t Au over 5.0m within 19.5m at 1.12g/t Au, and 6.00g/t over 2.0m inside a 27.0m zone. AX-25-667 cut 1.3g/t Au over 17.9m, including 6.03g/t over 1.5m and 5.22g/t over 1.4m. Visible gold was observed in sheeted veins, consistent with updated 3D modelling.
The company noted that these results demonstrate the potential to improve pit economics by converting waste blocks to ore and highlight upside potential beyond the current mineral resource estimate footprint. Over 29,000m in 127 holes have been drilled this year across AurMac, with further results expected.
