Altona Rare Earths Returns Encouraging Fluorspar Results at Monte Muambe

Altona Rare Earths Plc (LSE: REE) has announced encouraging assay results from its Monte Muambe Fluorite Zone in north-western Mozambique. The ore samples revealed an average content of 88.03% CaF₂ (calcium fluoride), surpassing typical metallurgical grade standards.

Cedric Simonet, CEO of Altona, commented, “I am very pleased with the latest developments for the Monte Muambe fluorspar project, which result in an updated scope including a higher-value product (acid-spar) and a higher-production capacity objective.”

The company is advancing metallurgical studies to optimize extraction and processing processes. It is also establishing partnerships with organizations in the mining processing sector to expedite production and ensure efficient operations.

Altona Rare Earths Plc is a resource exploration and development company focused on critical raw materials in Africa. The Monte Muambe project is currently in the pre-feasibility study phase for the extraction of rare earths.
