Company Overview

In February 2018, Namibia Rare Earths Inc. acquired seven projects from Gecko Namibia to diversify the Company’s commodity portfolio which now includes cobalt, copper, lithium, tantalum, niobium, nickel, vanadium and rare earths. The company name was changed to Namibia Critical Metals Inc. to better reflect this diversification into batteries, electric vehicles and associated technologies. A CAD$4M raise was completed in May. The current focus is on exploration in an emerging cobalt district in northern Namibia where a world class discovery of 79,300 t (indicated) and 46,900 t (inferred) contained cobalt was recently announced by Celsius Resources.

Over the past 6 months the Company completed geological, geochemical and airborne geophysical surveys over its contiguous ground (720 km2) and a 7,500 m drill program is currently in progress. The Company is also advancing the Lofdal heavy rare earth project and the Epembe tantalumniobium project through metallurgical optimization programs, and an airborne EM survey over the prospective mafic complex at Grootfontein (Ni, Zn-Pb-V targets) is scheduled to be flown in December.
