Lucara Diamond Corp. is a leading independent producer of large exceptional quality Type IIa diamonds, in excess of 10.8 carats, from its 100% owned Karowe Mine in Botswana. Karowe has been in production since 2012 and has produced large exceptional gem quality diamonds like the historic 1,109 carat Lesedi La Rona and the 813 carat Constellation, which sold for a record US$63.1 million. In April, an unbroken 1,758 carat near gem quality diamond was recovered at Karowe. One of the largest diamonds in the world and the largest recovered in Botswana. Since commencing production, Lucara has sold 187 diamonds for more than $1 million each and 10 single diamonds for more than $10 million each. A Feasibility Study is underway on the potential underground operation at Karowe, which could extend the mine life to 2036. The study is expected to be completed in H2 2019.

Lucara is positioned for growth through the company’s 100% owned Clara Diamond Solutions in addition to work on the Karowe underground feasibility study. Clara is a secure, digital sales platform that uses proprietary analytics together with cloud and blockchain technologies to modernize the existing diamond supply chain, driving efficiencies, unlocking value and ensuring
diamond provenance from mine to finger.

Since 2014, Lucara has paid out US$256 million in dividends, exceeding the total invested capital to develop Karowe. The Company has an experienced board and management team and operates transparently, in accordance with international best practices in the areas of sustainability, health, safety, environment and community relations.
