Callinex Mines Inc. is advancing its portfolio of base and precious metals rich deposits located in established Canadian mining jurisdictions. The focus of the portfolio is highlighted by the rapidly expanding Rainbow and Alchemist deposits at its rich VMS Pine Bay Project located near existing infrastructure in the Flin Flon Mining District. The second asset in the portfolio is the Nash Creek Project located in the VMS rich Bathurst Mining District of New Brunswick. The third asset, 100% owned Point Leamington Deposit in Newfoundland, is located in one of the richest VMS and Gold Districts in Canada.
Investment Highlights
Expanding two new high-grade discoveries
- High-grade copper, gold, zinc, silver rich VMS deposits in the iconic Flin Flon mining district
- Alchemist and Rainbow deposits, discovered in 2020 and 2022, are the first discoveries within 30km of Flin Flon in nearly three decades
- Rainbow has emerged as one of the highest grade copper deposits in the world based upon results to date. Maiden resource announced in July 2023
- Fully funded 20,000m drilling is ongoing to explore in depth and to further define parallel deposit targets at the Pine Bay Project
Supportive mining community and existing infrastructure
- Deposits are located within a mineral lease that includes a hydro-electric power line and historic shaft
- Emerging discoveries are located 30m by existing road access to skilled workforce and idle 5,500tpd mill
- Received a grant from the Manitoba Mineral Development Fund for the potential the discoveries have for economic growth and job creation
Strong Technical Team
- Team has been credited with the discovery and development of over 15 VMS mines in Manitoba including three of the four largest mines in the Flin Flon district’s history
- Notable discoveries include the recently shut down 777, currently producing Lalor and past producing Trout mines
